WHERE IS THE STUDIO LOCATED?

The WERQ Dance Fitness Studio is located at 1534 Burlington St. in North Kansas City, Missouri. Enter through the glass doors on Burlington, walk up the foyer steps, and take a right into the studio. A map can be found on the CONTACT page. 

IS THERE FREE PARKING?

Yes. There are multiple places you may park for free. 

  1. In front of the building on Burlington

  2. North of the building by Flex Fitness

  3. In the Stor Safe lot on 16th St just northwest of the building

  4. South of the building in the paved alley

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

Wear stretchy breathable clothes you feel comfortable in. For most of the classes, sneakers are recommended. No street shoes are allowed in the studio to reduce debris on the floor.

I'M NOT A DANCER. WILL I BE ABLE TO CATCH ON?

WERQ dance fitness is accessible to all levels. If you are new to dance fitness, give yourself 3-4 classes to settle in. Please know that we are here to make you feel welcome and comfortable trying something new!

DO YOU OFFER ONLINE CLASSES?

Yes. Some of our classes are live-streamed and available on homeWERQ.com. This is a separate membership and pricing from the studio.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED ENTRY?

The studio and classes are open to ages 14+. We do not offer child care at this time.

DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL MEMBERSHIP?

Yes. We offer 2 weeks of unlimited classes for only $25. This offer is only good for first-time visitors. If you've been to the studio before, consider purchasing a 5- or 10- class pass at the First Friday event each month.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR MILITARY, STUDENTS, TEACHERS, OR HEALTH WORKERS?

Yes. Call or email us to verify your eligibility and we will share the discount. 

HOW OFTEN IS THE STUDIO CLEANED?

The studio is sanitized daily and deep cleaned each week. We take cleanliness and your health very seriously.

WHAT ARE THE COVID REQUIREMENTS?

Sanitize your hands when you enter. Socially distance from others. We do not require proof of vaccination to enter at this time. Individuals may choose to wear a mask or not. If you have symptoms like fever, cough, and running nose, please stay home to recover safely.
